Solar Electric - smart design for small spaces
Great things can come in small packages! Even in the smallest of spaces our engineering can design a system that makes sense for your home or business. My solar array pictured above is a 1.05 kW system with a racking system built for expansion to a 2.1 kW system. The challenges of having a shaded roof and small yard were overcome with engineering a custom system that works for me. All of the systems we design are custom to your location making your investment sound.
Orientation
This array has great orientation. This photo was taken during a late afternoon winter in Michigan, about 3 pm. You can just start to see the shading from the garage late in the afternoon. Just like installing a satelite dish, if you have a clear view of the southern sky solar electric will work for you.
You will notice that my system is completely free of snow, which you can see around on the ground and on my roof. My system's design lends that snow will melt off quickly, or I can brush the snow off and take advantage of the sun in the winter.
